ESSENTIAL HEALTH SCREENING

PRICES STARTING FROM £195

Essential Health Screening is a detailed screening service designed to meet your specific needs.

Your doctor will undertake a thorough physical examination and talk through your medical history and that of your family. He will also will do a thorough series of blood and urine tests.

Based on this information your Doctor may propose further diagnostic tests, scans or even specialist referrals and we will arrange appointments for you.

Once all the results are available, you will receive a follow up call giving you a clear understanding of your current health, as well as advice and guidance on how to maintain your health and wellbeing.

What’s Included ?

Pre-screen Form
You will receive a pre-screen form to be completed and returned prior to your appointment. This will assist the Doctor evaluate your past and current health.

Essential Health Screening Consultation
45 minutes in clinic for your full physical examination, blood* and urine tests.
A follow-up telephone call to discuss your results with your doctor.

Medical and Family History

Your Doctor will talk you through your medical history and that of your family to identify potential risks and problems. You may also discuss contraceptive, pregnancy and menopause advice. You will have time to raise and discuss any health concerns you may have.

Full Body Examination

Following your tests, your doctor will undertake a thorough physical examination including your ears, mouth, chest, back, abdomen and joints.

 

Well-woman screening:

  • Breast examination (if clinically indicated)
  • Cervical smear test (if clinically recommended)*
  • Contraceptive, pregnancy and menopause advice
  • Ca-125 – Ovarian cancer tumour marker (if clinically recommended)*
  • Cardiovascular Screening

Well-man screening:

  • Prostate and Testicular examination
  • PSA – Prostate cancer tumour marker (if clinically recommended)*
  • Cardiovascular screening

Vital Observations

  • Height and weight – to calculate your Body Mass Index (BMI)
  • Blood pressure
  • Pulse Oximetry to assess oxygen levels
  • Urinalysis – to check the urine for ten different parameters
  • Peak Expiratory Flow Meter – to assess lung function
  • Vision Test – includes colour blindness screening

An electrocardiogram (ECG) is a non-invasive heart tracing test that provides information about your cardiac health

COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH SCREENING

PRICES STARTING FROM £799

Our Comprehensive Health Screening package provides even more detailed testing for those wishing more information on their current health, as well as advice and guidance on how to maintain health and wellbeing.

The appointment length is 90 minutes.

As well providing the testing included in the Essential Health Screening package, the Comprehensive Heath Screening package includes the following :-

  • Abdominal ultrasound scan to check liver, kidneys, pancreas, gallbladder and aorta
  • Chest Xray to assess the lungs and heart
  • ECG – a heart tracing test that provides information about your cardiac health
  • Spirometer – Vitalograph spirometer to test your lung function

*Blood tests and smear test will incur an additional charge if required

GENETIC TESTING

PRICES STARTING FROM £1,499

Genetic Testing is an important part of understanding important health risks you may, or may not, have based on genetic variants in your DNA. This can be added to your health screen and only need to be done once.

Genetic testing looks for changes in your DNA that can inform your medical care. These are sometimes called mutations or variants in your DNA. Our test providers have found that 16.1% of healthy adults carry a serious health related risk.

For healthy adults who wish to gain important, medically actionable insights based on their DNA, we offer proactive genetic testing. Our tests will give you insights into important health risks you may, or may not, have based on genetic variants in your DNA.

TRUCHECK™ EARLY CANCER SCREENING BLOOD TEST

PRICE - £1,299

The TruCheck™ Early Cancer Screening blood test is a thorough check for the existence of cancer in your body, identifying which type of cancer(s) you have, and from which organ they have originated.

Ideal as part of an annual health check up, this test will help you understand whether you currently have cancer or not, and if you do – where tumours are located for rapid treatment.
